The Blues Trail “Scavenger” Ride will be a fun and relaxing self-guided ride around the Delta. Participants will “scavenge” for photos at five of the trail’s historic markers, redeeming each photo for a card during our in-store poker walk at the end of the ride.

The day will kick off with ride registration from 11:00am – 12:00pm. (Please be sure to bring your motorcycle endorsement and proof of insurance to assist in completion of the required ride waiver.) A $10 per bike ride registration fee is required with all proceeds going to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

We’ll then have a Blessing of the Bikes ceremony shortly after noon, before the first bikes begin rolling out at 12:15pm. Participants will enjoy a scenic ride down Highway 61 through Tunica, stopping at the following historic markers to snap selfies (with or without a passenger):

  • Marker #1 -     Highway 61 Blues (Robinsonville, MS)
  • Marker #2 -     Hollywood Café (Tunica, MS) This is a great place to grab a bite to eat along the way – they’re opening up from 12pm – 3pm in support of our ride and Shriners Hospitals for Children. Please show them your appreciation by stopping in to enjoy a nice lunch during the ride.
  • Marker #3 -     Tunica Museum (Tunica, MS)
  • Marker #4 -     Tate County Blues (Coldwater, MS)
  • Marker #5 -     Beale Town Bound (Hernando, MS)

Riders will then return to Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson between 2:15pm and 3:00pm to “redeem” each photo for a card in our poker walk. Prizes will be awarded for low (Southern Thunder Destination t-shirt) and high (Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson souvenir gift basket and $25 gift certificate to the Hollywood Cafe) hand. The more photos you snap, the more cards you’ll have to make your winning hand!

Registration will be conducted the day of the ride from 11am – 12pm, but an RSVP is appreciated for planning purposes. Please complete the form below so we can be sure to be ready for you at registration and give the Hollywood Café a heads up!
