I just bought my new bike Saturday and picked it up today and I have to thank your whole staff. I am also in sales and we work just like you guys do. It was a wonderful -from start to finish transaction. Too many names to mention - Even the guy fallowed me to my house to get a helmet so i could bring it home. On my way back from Run For The Wall from LA to DC, I had to stop to get an oil change and filter. XXXX fit me into the schedule and the technician sold me a new front tires with tube. I can't thank you guys enough to provide the customer service I'd appreciate. My tour was over 7000 miles in 25 days and I'm right back on schedule to meet up with my friends in Memphis, TN. If you would please tell XXXX that I just love the Hydration vest that she sold to me on Friday. IT IS WONDERFUL. Anybody who rides in this heat should have one. I rode today for over 3 hours and stayed cool. It was still cool to the touch when I got home. I already had a mesh jacket so I was ready to go today. To cool off a little more all you do it change your riding position just slightly and it cools. Moving my arm position gave me extra cooling when I needed it. Changing my lean gave me more coolness either on my chest or my back. My skin was cool to the touch when I got off of the bike. Even my tattoo guy noticed it and asked me how I stayed so cool. I will be sure to recommend it to all of the riders that I know. Plus, at only $45 it is a steal and well worth the money if you want to stay cool on these HOT summer days. Plus, as usual, you guys have GREAT customer service. XXXX made sure that I tried it on and then grabbed the back to see how it would fit when fully hydrated. She knew my name and waited on me right away. I can't tell you how much good customer service is worth. EVERY TIME I come into the store is a pleasure. My customer satisfaction level at Southern Thunder is an A+. All of the trouble that you guys go through to make sure that you know regular customers is a very big plus in my book. That's one of the things that keeps me coming back. I can easily order stuff online...but I come into Southern Thunder for the wonderful customer service. Thank you again, Lynnette M.
Your email was so thoughtful in loving respect to all involved as well as all the people he "touched" with his attitude. Your stock just went up in my book for the manner of recognition of Gary and condolences to all who knew him. A class act on Southern Thunder's part. On July 24th I was fortunate enough to have my 98 King towed in to your dealership. XXXX took excellent care of my whole experience from the initial phone call to the final bill. The tech that worked on my bike was more that thorough and honest in his diagnosis and eventual repair. It is never pleasant to break down on the road, the people at Southern Thunder HD were accommodating and even fun to hang out with. If I have an opportunity to use you in in future or even just stop in and say hi I will. The service level you provide goes a long way to build the trust necessary to tour America on a Harley Davidson. Even if it is an "old bike" that’s an inside joke! Mark V.
It has been too long since I have communicated with you and praised you for the instruction you provided at the Rider's Edge Course. I have found it has impacted my overall reaction time in all situations in all vehicles. I feel I have much more control and confidence in handling situations that arise. Received your letter making sure the service on my bike was ok. I can't say enough about how you guys handled my problem. 1200 miles from home & my starter fails. The tech knew what the trouble was, even before he removed the primary cover. You & your crew stayed late to get us back on the road. Your wife was there to pick you up & offered us a ride to the motel, if the bike wasn't ready. We rode 9000 miles in 2008 with 3 service stops & HD dealerships always got us in & out. People who don't ride Harleys, just don't understand the exceptional service you guys give!! Please thank the tech & everyone for their help. I just wanted to drop a line to you guys and brag on some of my favorite people in that store. Just wanted to brag on xxxx in parts and xxxx in clothing. My husband and I absolutely adore these two. You could not ask for better service. They are fun and always friendly. They make our experience there feel like it’s a special thing. XXXX and I just met before the move but it was an instant bond. I look for her when I come in wouldn't want to deal with anyone else. XXXX is the same way with my husband, can always depend on them. I do believe that a job well done deserves a reward. Whether it be verbal or physical you have two gems in the store that you should hang on to. My husband and I spend a lot of money there and could not imagine them not being there. You really have a GREAT crew at Southern Thunder in Southaven, MS. I am totally serious. Your guys are great. When I bought my Honda I was able to talk to the salesman once...but as soon as I sat down to sign the papers NEVER AGAIN. At XXXX they never recognized me they never e-mailed me they never cared about me again after I signed those papers. After that I was nothing to them. But, at Southern Thunder Harley I am recognized each and every single time I walk through the doors. I really appreciate that. Whenever I have needed something your guys have been right there to make sure that I got whatever it was that I needed and whenever I needed it. When I get ready to purchase another bike I will certainly come back to Southern Thunder Harley Davidson. There is no doubt in my mind about that. I have dealt with sales, merchandise, parts and service and on all points I have been more than satisfied. I could not be any more pleased than what I am. I cannot wait for a good weather weekend to really go out on the open road and to show her off. I would like to extend my appreciation for my new friends I just made at Southern Thunder HD. I purchased my first ever bike last July. I am 54 years old. It was a metric...but it got me on my feet and learned the biking culture. It came time to move up to a Harley faster than expected due to my wife's recent appreciation for riding. So, her idea was to go visit..."just to look" at something bigger so we could travel overnight and travel with our new friends. We traveled to Southaven, 92 miles away, that Saturday - to "just look" as she put. But, we wound up meeting the most courteous, professional, and knowledgeable staff we could have possibly imagined at Southern Thunder. My wife chummed up to the manager herself, and off they went "just looking". About two hours later, and after meeting XXXX from merchandising, and XXXX from sales, and all the service staff, we purchased a 2009 Ultra Classic. It is that beautiful light and dark candy root beer with most of the whistles. I honestly believe we made that purchase that day five weeks ago due to the staff you have at Southern Thunder. They made me feel like we were purchasing an exclusive car like Infinity, Lexus, or Mercedes. It did not feel like a "biker" shop. It was a great experience. I have returned numerous times to the dealership for my 1000 mile check up, a service call, and many merchandise purchases. I just wanted to relay on to you that the team in Southern Thunder is doing a great job in promoting the Harley name, service, and ownership experience. Thanks. Terry H.
