What types of events and activities can take place at Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson?

STHD can host a variety of  indoor or outdoor events including receptions, dinners, concerts, meetings, weddings, non-political fund-raisers, galas, parties, rallies, presentations, film/photo shoots, etc.   We have spaces that can accommodate groups of 5 to 500.  If you have an event, we are interested in hosting it. 

What is the pricing for events?

We have base fees for the rental of each space, but each event has its own characteristics and demands. Thus, we customize our usage fees based upon the space used and the duration of the event. We will be happy to assist you in determining your space needs and the usage fee.  

When can events begin?

Your starting time for after-hours events is dependent upon what space you will be utilizing and the complexity of your set-up. Most of our rental spaces are available throughout the day or evening and are private. For rentable private rooms, we are flexible with starting times. Access to these rooms can be coordinated to fit your group's specific needs.  

What catering services are available?

STHD has standing relationships with a variety of local restaurants and catering services.  This allows us the opportunity to ensure the success of your event by providing an experienced partner who understands you, your needs, and has a thorough understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the various spaces throughout the dealership.

Can I bring my own entertainment to my event?

Yes. You do have the opportunity to bring in your own entertainment. However, STHD reserves the right to approve or disapprove any entertainment. We require all entertainment to provide proof of liability insurance. The name, type of entertainment, and any special requirements must be provided to STHD at least two weeks in advance of the event.

Do you have rooms to accommodate small meetings?

Yes. We have rooms that can accommodate smaller meetings and events. These rooms have been designed with built-in audio visual support along with telephone and internet capabilities.    

What do I need to do to reserve a date for an event?

Once you have selected a date, contact Sandy Buford at STHD  (email info@southernthunderhd.com or call 662-349-1099).  She will take the date of your event, and whatand our sales staff has verified availability, we will place a tentative hold on the space and follow up with an end-user agreement. Upon receipt of the end-user agreement you will have ten (10) business days to return the signed document along with the specified non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied to your room/space. After you have made your preliminary food and beverage selections you will have 10 days to submit that deposit. Final payment in full will be due prior to your event.

What happens to my tentative hold if another customer would like to rent the same space on the same day?

The first booking has a 24-hour right of refusal to tentative hold. Should another inquiry come in, we will call to notify you that you have 24 hours to send a non-refundable deposit and signed end-user agreement, or the space will be released.

Do I need to have the approval of STHD for using/displaying the STHD Logo, photographs or media on printed or media materials?

Yes. The displays, logos, and other media of STHD are protected under copyright and trademark laws and may not be used without written permission. Any type of media advertising must be approved in advance by STHD.

Does STHD provide tables, chairs, linens and service ware for events?

STHD has a moderate inventory of table and chairs for your use.  We do not provide linens or service ware however. You will need to contract with our exclusive provider for these items and you client will be responsible for all fees incurred.
