Southern Thunder is proud to be a member a family of dealerships linked through Bruce Rossmeyer - the “World’s Largest” Harley-Davidson dealer. Our Dealer/Principal, Lisa Rossmeyer Wade, is Bruce’s niece.

Bruce was a “larger than life” figure, loved by his family, revered by his friends and business associates, and honored by many for his generosity to children’s causes nationwide – especially his “Ride for Children” benefiting Camp Boggy Creek. Bruce’s untimely passing in July of 2009, left Sandy, his wife of 46 years, his five children and 11 grandchildren and the world with legacy of a life well lived.

The crown jewel of Bruce’s legacy in the motorcycle industry is Destination Daytona, located off I-95 and US Hwy 1 in Ormond Beach, featuring Daytona Harley-Davidson the largest Harley dealership in the world at a massive 109,000 sq. ft., and a 150 acre “Biker Paradise” consisting of an amphitheater, restaurants, shops, condominiums, a hotel, bars and enormous vending area that becomes THE place for Bike Week and Biketoberfest.
